Hi Everyone,
We have several exciting events still to come at the PSC and I hope to see everyone taking part!
First up is a FREE doubles refereeing clinic on Thursday April 2nd at 7:00pm. This session is highly recommended for all doubles players whether you play house league, OSDL, tournaments or maybe you just want a deeper understanding of the rules of squash. Important topics such as let’s, strokes, turning, interference situations, and other complex rules scenarios will be covered. No sign up required, just add the date to your calendar and show up!
Next is a FREE singles refereeing clinic on Tuesday April 7th at 7:00pm. This session is highly recommended for all singles players, again whether you play house league, T&D, tournaments or maybe you just want a deeper understanding of the rules of squash. Important topics such as let’s, strokes, interference situations, and other complex rules scenarios will be covered. No sign up required, just add the date to your calendar and show up! Courts 1 & 2. Additionally we are going to have a fun skills competition just before the singles clinic. Show up at 5:45pm!
The Club Championship Tournament sign up is open and filling up fast! The deadline to register is Thursday, April 2ndand registration must be completed through the Google Form linked below. Please be sure to add our pub night party and banquet on Sat. April 18th to your calendars.
Special Guest Clinics with Hollie Naughton – Sat. March 28th
We are thrilled to welcome Hollie Naughton to Pickering for a special day of clinics for all levels. Hollie is a 5X Canadian Champion and currently top 50 in the World. She may be the only Canadian representing our country for squash in the LA Olympic Games. She is running three separate 2 hour clinics for beginners, intermediate and advanced players. Lastly, Sameer and I will be offering a 4 week series of doubles clinics. Each week will focus on a different tactical element of doubles play and you can sign up for individual sessions based on the topics that interest you the most. All themes and dates are listed in the sign up form below.
