Congratulations to Ricky & Steve D. (Subbing for Steve M.) who defeated Eric & Savio (Subbing for Mike T.) in a very close 3/2 win on Monday night. The scores were 15/8 9/15 12/15 15/12 15/13 . The match was enjoyed by an enthusiastic crowd.
In the 3/4 match, Dom & Trevor defeated Fred & Mark 3/0.
Congratulations to Jackie & Terry who defeated Caryn and Sal 3/1 to take the DIV3 Championship.
The 2022 edition of the Summer Doubles House League saw a total of 11 teams competing throughout the summer months.
The league wrapped up play on September 8th with the championship & consolation matches for both Div 2 & Div 3.
Division 2
Congratulations to Roger & Kitt (subbing for Sara-Jane) who outlasted Juan & Devon in a hard fought match, 3/2 for the Div 2 championship.
In the consolation match, Jim & Shan defeated Nav (subbing for Aymen) & Roger (subbing for Kitt), 3/1 for 3rd place.
Division 3
Congratulations to Peter Z & Assad who defeated Dayan & Sorin 3/0 to capture the Div 3 championship.
Terry K & Jackie took 3rd place in the consolation match with a 3/0 victory over John K & Sal (subbing for Caryn K).
Afterwards the players gathered at Sabina’s for some food & drink to celebrate the season.
Thanks goes out to all the house league players for a great season. And a special shoutout & thanks goes out to Aymen & Jim D for organizing & running this league & keeping doubles house league squash going during the hazy days of summer. Looking forward to next summer’s edition.

The 2022-2023 Pickering Squash Club Season is coming soon. The following are just a few of the events to plan for.
PLEASE NOTE: The Season Kick Off Fun Tournament and AGM previously scheduled for September 24th has been postponed. Stay tuned for a new rescheduled date to be announced.
Don’t forget, you have to be a fully paid up member of the Pickering Squash Club and the Chestnut Hills Development Recreation Complex to take part in PSC House Leagues and Club organized events.
As of Tuesday March 1st, capacity restrictions have been lifted and the Squash Club can resume regular programming. Masks are still required when you are not actually playing squash. Social distancing is highly recommended and you should be fully vaccinated to participate in club activities and events. Club facility renovations are nearing completion and we should have access to the locker rooms R.S.N. (Real Soon Now!)
As of February 28th, the House Leagues (both Singles and Doubles) for the Winter/Spring Season have started. Singles House League is running on Monday evenings. Doubles House Leagues are running Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Hi Everyone,
I would like to invite you all to participate in the Pickering Squash Club’s annual Lee Hanebury Memorial Tournament on the weekend of Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2020. This is a tournament weekend you do not want to miss! Tournament events include Men’s and Women’s singles events levels A-E (This means everyone at every level can play), as well as Doubles Men’s and Women’s B and C draws. Women may play both singles and doubles (only required to pay one entry fee) but due to limited court time and larger men’s draws, men may only play one event. Your entry fee includes a great tournament souvenir, licensed bar, Saturday breakfast and lunch, Saturday night doubles Calcutta followed by a social night at our local restaurant and lots of squash.
