If you or your teammate cannot play at your scheduled time, please follow these steps:
- [ ] 1. Notify Opponents Immediately Contact the opposing team as soon as you know you can’t make it. Failing to communicate before the match starts results in an automatic default.
- [ ] 2. Propose New Dates Suggest alternative times to your opponents. Remember, the match must be played within the current round’s timeframe.
- [ ] 3. Book the New Court Time The team that canceled is responsible for securing the new booking.
- Standard Times: Book through Gametime.
- Mon/Tue at 5:00 PM (Court 1): You must contact Jim at least 24 hours in advance to secure this slot.
- [ ] 4. Confirm with All Parties Once a new time is agreed upon and the court is booked, send a final confirmation to your opponents and (if using Court 1 at 5:00 PM) ensure Jim has confirmed it in his calendar.
- [ ] 5. Handle Defaults Fairly If you cannot find a time that works for both teams, the team that requested the reschedule will unfortunately receive a match default.
Pro-Tips for Smooth Rescheduling:
- Don’t wait: Prime Time courts fill up fast! The sooner you contact Jim or check Gametime, the better.
- Be Flexible: As a club known for great sportsmanship, we encourage all teams to do their best to accommodate rescheduling requests.
