2025 Harvest Hit Doubles Tournament Recap

This year’s Harvest Hit Doubles Tournament brought excitement, drama, and plenty of laughs to the Pickering Squash Club. The weekend was filled with tight matches, surprise upsets, and the great camaraderie that makes our doubles community so much fun.

Finalists:

  • Mixed B Doubles: Steve Dizig & Nicole Pirko overcame Claudia Sabri & Mark Rowland
  • Men’s B Doubles: Scott Gormley & Sameer Vadera battled past Shawn Reid & Robert Henderson
  • Men’s C Doubles: Shabbir Salemwalla & Erez Erlich defeated Roger Tieche & Devon Rimas
  • Women’s C Doubles: Kimberley Ferguson & Anita Nador prevailed over Catherine Hanley & Jackie Ferrier

Coming Up Next: Lee Hanebury Memorial & Ontario Women’s Veterans Doubles

Mark your calendars for January 30 – February 1, 2026, when the Lee Hanebury Memorial Tournament and Ontario Women’s Veterans Doubles Championships return to the Pickering Squash Club. All players and levels are invites regardless of whether you play for a club.

The event features both singles and doubles, with women eligible to play in both for one entry fee (if court time allows). Players can look forward to Friday night samosas, Saturday breakfast and lunch, a licensed bar, tournament souvenir, prizes, and a possible Saturday night doubles Calcutta (time permitting).

Divisions:

Lee Hanebury Memorial: Men’s A, B, C, D, E • Women’s A, B, C, D, E • Men’s B & C Doubles

Ontario Women’s Veterans Doubles: Women’s 30+ A, 30+ B, 30+ C, 60+, 65+
