Your Squash Journey

Unleash Your Squash Game

Whether you’re looking for organized competition, a casual game, or a way to take your skills to the next level, our squash programs are designed for every type of player. Find your fit with our vibrant leagues, drop-in sessions, and competitive events.

Singles House League: Your Weekly Game, Guaranteed.

Our weekly Singles Squash House League is a great way to find consistent play. We’ll match you with a new opponent each week, making it easy to meet other players and enjoy fun, competitive games that are matched to your skill level. It’s the best way to get on the court and never have to worry about finding a partner.

Discover the Game’s Most Addictive Format: Doubles Squash.

The Squash Game You Didn’t Know You Were Missing.

Experience the sport’s most dynamic twist. Doubles squash is an exhilarating and highly social format where four players take to a bigger court with a fast-moving hardball. It’s a game that uses all your court awareness and tactical shot-making.

Why Players Love Our Doubles Community:

  • It’s a favourite for players who love taking on a new challenge. Although a faster and more strategic game that demands all your skills, it’s easier on your body than singles.
  • There’s a reason why our robust community has over 20 team pairs playing in our house league every season!
  • We offer a variety of ways to play, including mixed doubles house leagues and interclub leagues for both men and women.

Squash, Friends, and Community

The Social Side of Squash

Our members love getting together to play — whether it’s a friendly round-robin, a casual doubles match, or an impromptu game. Many players are introduced to others through our house leagues, making it easy to find partners and build connections. Throughout the year, we also host fun events like our fun AGM Round Robin, and our Holiday Toy Drive Squash Event, adds a special touch — members gather for a festive round robin and social while bringing toys, food, and donations to support local families in need.

Competitive Interleague Teams

For players with an eye on advanced play.

Playing on a T&D or OSDL squash team is a great opportunity to take your game to the next level and get some competitive matches. Our club offers a pathway to high-level competition against other clubs across the Greater Toronto Area. We field multiple teams for women in singles (there is currently no men’s singles T&D league offered in the Durham Region) and for men and women in doubles the following leagues:

Toronto & District Women’s Squash Association

The premier women’s singles league in the Greater Toronto Area, with divisions ranging from A to D. Check with Nicole to see what teams we have entered for the season.

OSDL (Ontario Squash Doubles League)

We have three men’s team, and one women’s team entered in the the Ontario Squash Doubles League this year. If you are interested in subbing, speal to Nicole.

Tournaments

Why Play Squash Tournaments?

Squash tournaments are one of the best ways to take your game to the next level. They’re social, exciting, and push you to test your skills against new opponents. With divisions for every ability—from beginners to seasoned competitors—you’ll always find a level that’s fun, challenging, and right for you.

Pickering Squash Club Tournaments

Our club hosts several popular events each year, including:

  • The Harvest Hit – A doubles tournament featuring Mixed B, Men’s B & C, and Women’s B & C divisions. This tournament is usually in October.
  • The Lee Hanebury Memorial Tournament – A highlight on the squash calendar, offering Men’s and Women’s B & C doubles plus singles from A through E. This tournament is usually late January early February.
  • Club Championships – Exclusive to members, this event caps off the season with spirited competition, followed by our annual awards banquet.

Over the years, Pickering has also welcomed top-level events such as the Women’s Masters and the Heidelberg Materials Ontario Championships, cementing our reputation as a hub for competitive squash.

“Nicole has been amazing to take lessons with and get coached by. The round robins have been so much fun, and I love being on the teams. I am especially happy to have the opportunity to have discovered doubles – so much fun to play and I really like the social side of it!
