We are thrilled to welcome you to the Lee Hanebury Tournament at the Pickering Squash Club!
We are excited to host you for a weekend filled with competitive squash, great camaraderie, and lots of fun – both on and off the court! New this year will be the addition of the Ontario Women’s Veterans Doubles Championships, supported by Hennessy & Hinchcliffe. Lots of singles and doubles activity to soak in!

Here is an outline of the weekend schedule:
- Friday: Matches from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- Saturday: Matches from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Sunday: Matches from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
To keep everyone energized throughout the weekend:
- Samosas will be available for $2 each, sold in the doubles viewing court area on Saturday evening.
- Complimentary pizza will be served to competitors on Friday night, with munchies available for competitors throughout the weekend.
- Drinks will be served at the bar all weekend in the doubles court area. Please note, this is a cash bar only. Alcoholic drinks are $7 each or 3 for $20, so please bring cash.
- Saturday breakfast and lunch will be served to competitors on the second floor outside the singles viewing area.
Saturday Calcutta/Pub Night
Bring it on!! Following the final matches on the doubles court on Saturday evening (around 7pm), we will be having a super fun Calcutta on the doubles courts! This event is fast and furious!!
Eight evenly selected teams will be chosen throughout the day and posted on Saturday afternoon. You will have a chance to pick the team that you think will win to bring home the dough $!
Additional information:
- Winners are responsible for refereeing the next match on their court. Please respect this rule.
- There is no towel service at the club, so please bring your own towel.
- Please note that there will be multiple events happening at the Recreation Complex this weekend, so allow extra time for parking.
- Additional parking is available at the back of the building near the arenas.
