Recap from last nights matches…
The boys on our Div. 3 team went in very confident last night for their quarter final match against Goodlife Dunfield! Metallica tunes were filling the stands while Darryl and Aaron were warming up to start their match. Darryl was able to pull off a win despite the fact that he decided to wear brand new shoes and couldn’t feel his toes by game 4!
Aaron on the other court was fighting for the win and had a strong strategy but unfortunately fell a little short with a tight 3-1 finish.
Next up was Praveen and Jordan hoping to get a win to take the pressure off Scott. The tension started to build as both matches were tied 1-1. It was a huge relief when Jordan took control of his match with a 3-1 win while Praveen yelled out “baby food”, a term from the Gen Z generation, on the other court when he just missed an almost perfect drop shot that would have given him control of the game.
With matches tied at 2-2 it was Scott’s turn to strut his stuff… He did just that with his signature head fakes and his undeniable tight drop shots to finish off the night with a win for Pickering!

Men’s Div. 3 semi-finals (home game) – Tues. March 10th – 7:20 – Come out and watch!
Women’s D semi finals (home game) – Thurs. March 12th – 7:20 – Come out and watch!
Men’s Div. 4 (quarter finals)- They will be playing an away game on Friday! (good luck guys!)
