Entry fee: $80 + HST

Entry includes Friday night samosas, Sat. lunch, licensed bar, tournament souvenir, prizes

Late entries, if accepted, will incur a $5 surcharge

Divisions:

  • Mens B
  • Mens C
  • Womens B
  • Womens C
  • Mixed B

Other Information: Players may play both mixed and men’s/women if court time permits.

*Women & Men can play 2 divisions (for one fee), email [email protected] to sign up.

Each division will be capped to 8 teams max other than the mixed division, which is 16.

Entries taken on first come basis.

Start Times & Draws: Start times will be emailed on Monday prior to the tournament and the draws will be published online on the Tuesday.

Requests to change or specific start times cannot be accommodated due to the nature of the event.

Eyeguards must be worn by all players at provincial events. 

Refunds: any withdrawals before the entry deadline will receive a refund less 15% admin fee. Any withdrawals after the entry deadline will not receive a refund.

ELIGIBILTY

Players must register in a division where their Club Locker rating at the time of registration falls within the specified limits.

Men’s Divisions 

  • Men’s Open – 5.9 or higher
  • Men’s A – 6.0 or lower
  • Men’s B – 5.25 or lower
  • Men’s C – 4.5 or lower
  • Men’s D – 3.9 or lower
  • Men’s E – 3.25 or lower

Women’s Divisions 

  • Women’s Open – 4.8 or higher
  • Women’s A – 4.8 or lower
  • Women’s B – 4.15 or lower
  • Women’s C – 3.5 or lower
  • Women’s D – 2.85 or lower
  • Women’s E – 2.25 or lower

Petition to Play in a Lower Division 

Players may petition to compete in a lower division if they have never won an event at that level before. Petitions must be submitted before the registration deadline and will be reviewed by Squash Ontario on a case-by-case basis. Players petitioning to play in a lower division must have a rating within 0.2 of that division’s upper limit at the time of sign-up.

Enforcement 

Squash Ontario reserves the right to adjust a player’s division placement if it is determined that their rating does not align with the competitive integrity of the tournament.
