Yes the Shindig tournament is back and if you were on the ball (Squash Ball that is) you managed to get one of the coveted spots in the Draw. Play starts at 6:00 PM on Tuesday April 17th in the Doubles Courts. Check for your start times below. If you didn’t get a spot in the Tourney, we can always use SUBs. Contact Nicole, Terry or John and tell them you want to SUB.
Another hugely successful Lee Hanebury tournament this year! So, there were several questions asked about that guy running around, “me”, taking photos, like… “How can I see them”, “Will they be posted”? Well, here they are… https://www.flickr.com/photos/alpha-in-hand/collections/72157692165396214/
They have been organized into the “days”, so it could take a little scrolling, but hopefully there is a shot of you, proof, that you participated in this fun, friendly and well organized tournament!

Have you checked out the Events Calendar recently?
Want to know what’s happening at your club then the Events Calendar is the place to look. You will find all of the T&D Home matches, OSDL Doubles Home matches and Pickering Squash Club Tournaments listed on the Calendar.
You can view the calendar on a Monthly (default), Weekly or Daily view. If you don’t like the calendar view then you can also get a list of upcoming events by clicking the LIST button. You can also search for a specific type of event such as Doubles or Singles.
We hope that this will give you a better opportunity to know what is happening at your club.

The annual Food Bank Golf Tournament which is run on behalf of the Pickering Squash Club was a resounding success. Tournament Chair and Squash Club Member, Kevin Cahill, recently posted a Letter to the Editor in the Pickering News Advertiser outlining how the Club Sponsored Event was able to raise over $26,500 with the aid of a $15,000 anonymous donation. We club members can be very proud of our contribution to the Food Bank by our support.
